Library

A good library is the heart of a school, and ours is a quiet, welcoming place where students can read, think and learn. With a collection of [number] books and growing, it offers something for every age and interest.

The collection includes story books, novels, poetry, biographies, general knowledge books, reference books, encyclopaedias and subject-related titles in both English and Hindi. We also subscribe to newspapers and magazines so that students stay aware of current events and the wider world. A separate reading corner for younger children has colourful picture books to make their first steps into reading enjoyable.

Library periods are part of the weekly timetable, and students can borrow books to take home. Activities such as book talks, reading challenges, book-week celebrations and “Reader of the Month” recognition encourage the habit of reading. Students also learn how to use reference material for projects and assignments, and to treat books with care and respect.
